Blueberries and Cottage Cheese Smoothie


2 cups blueberries
2 mangoes
1/2 cup pomegranate juice
8 ounces low-fat cottage cheese
1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey (optional)
2 tablespoons golden flaxseeds
1/2 cup of ice cubes

In a blender, mix the blueberries, pomegranate juice, mango, cottage cheese, maple syrup, flaxseeds, and ice. Serve immediately.

Comments: I added about 1/4 cup pitted cherries that I had leftover and it turned out fantastic. That is reflected in the picture.

Makes approximately 4 servings.
