"Premium Gold Flax" joined our healthy mission, as a sponsor to "Cooking up Change" event at the Northgate Market headquarters in Anaheim. The kids learned about nutrition, creating healthy recipes, and were mentored for a couple of months by Chefs and Mentors. At the end, 11 teams competed and were able to create healthy menus which can be then created in their school cafeterias. They all received a copy of my Cooking Well: Mediterranean, thanks to my publishing House, "Hatherleigh Press". The winning team will go on to Washington, DC in May to compete against a few other states teams. May the best team and healthy recipes win!
